In this edition of our newsletter, we have two articles we've written that recently appeared in Medical Device Online magazine on the Lean principles of continuous flow and pull.  We also have some exciting announcements regarding upcoming training.

Now is the time to register for our Lean Manufacturing Certification (Blended Learning) program, which will take place on April 19-21; early registration discounted pricing expires on March 19th.

We have also annouced a new program, Advanced Team Facilitation and Change Management, which will take place on May 19-20.  This program can be a stand-alone program, or can be used for our Certified Lean Practitioners to upgrade to Certified Lean Facilitator.  For our complete schedule of off-site training and for on-site training information, please visit our Lean Training page.

If you are unable to attend our off-site training programs, please consider our online training and certification programs. These include Lean Manufacturing Certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Lean Healthcare Certificate. To view all of our online training offerings, please visit Lean Training Online.

Featured Topic: Flow and Pull Systems

Continuous Flow and Pull are both key principles of lean. They appear in the original 5 principles of lean (as principles #3 and #4) in Lean Thinking, and they appear several times in the 14 principles of the Toyota Way as described by Jeffrey Liker in The Toyota Way.  Below, we include two of our articles that appeared recently in Med Device Online magazine.
